Welcome to Our School

Welcome to La Petite Academy in Hampton, VA!

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about us. My name is Tiarra, and I am the Academy Director here at La Petite Academy.

At La Petite Academy, we provide a safe and nurturing environment for children of all ages, from our Infant program through to our School-Age program. Our individualized lesson plans are tailored to each child’s developmental needs, ensuring that every student is prepared for their next steps.

We are dedicated to staying at the forefront of early childhood education, which is why our teachers undergo continuous training on the latest findings in the field. Many of our teachers have been part of our La Petite family for over five years, and we always have staff on-site trained in First Aid and CPR. Your child’s safety is our top priority, and all visitors are required to check in at the front desk and present a photo I.D. before accessing the classroom areas.

To keep you connected throughout your child’s day, we offer live streaming video of your child’s classroom and other real-time updates through our exclusive mobile app for families, SproutAbout.

With over twelve years in child care, ranging from private nannying to lead teaching. My experience includes creating nurturing environments and implementing engaging educational programs. I am extremely passionate about early childhood education, I believe it’s crucial for shaping future leaders. I’m dedicated to fostering growth and development in young children and continuously advancing my skills to enhance their learning experiences.
