Welcome to our nationally-accredited La Petite Academy educational daycare and preschool in Mesa, AZ! My name is Jena and I'm the school director. I have over 29 years in early childhood education and welcome you to our school.

Our school offers Infant and Toddler Care, Preschool, Pre-Kindergarten and After-School Clubs. Currently, we transport to Superstition Springs Elementary, Boulder Creek Elementary, Townes Elementary and Noah Webster Charter School.

We believe in offering our families the best quality early childhood education in a loving, nurturing environment.

Hi! My name is Jena Mercado. I grew up in a military family. I moved to Arizona from Florida 21 years ago. I am married, have three grown children and five grandchildren. I have worked in early education for 29 years. I have been blessed to be part of this amazing company for the past four years. My passion is working with children and being a part of their everyday learning experience. I am grateful for the opportunity to be here and can't wait to see more children join our La Petite Family!

Education: Elementary Education

Hi I’m Jordan Flaherty! I’m originally from New Hampshire where I met my husband in high school. We moved to Arizona eight years ago and now have two wonderful boys, Edward and Bentley. I have worked in child care since 2017 in all different age groups, and I’m so excited to be a part of this company. I am currently going to school to get my BA in elementary education. I’m excited for your family to be apart of the La Petite family!
