Welcome to Our School
Welcome to our La Petite Academy educational daycare and preschool in Albuquerque, NM. We are located in the Ladera shopping center. My name is Mary-Ann Azpeitia and I am the academy director.
We are accredited by the National Early Childhood Program Accreditation and our school offers Preschool, Pre-Kindergarten and other age-specific programs.
The early years are the most critical years in the child's life; experiences during this time have a lasting impact on a child's development and future academic success. Our purpose is to empower children ages 6 weeks to 12 years to acquire the skills they will need to become creative problem solvers, lifelong learners, and responsible members of their community. Our mission is to support growth of each child through our portfolio of education programs set on a continuum specifically designed to meet a child's individual needs and set the foundation for academic success.
I am fortunate to have a staff that loves their children and is dedicated to making sure they have a great experience at school. All staff is required to receive 30 hours of ongoing training throughout the year.

Certifications: Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education
My name is Mary-Ann Azpeitia, and I am the Academy Director for this school. I have over twenty years of experience teaching in both early childhood education and elementary education in addition to 3 years of administrative work. My passion has always been to nurture young minds and help them grow into better individuals. My mission is to provide a warm, caring, and safe environment on a daily basis.

My name is Samantha Espinoza and I have been working for La Petite for nine years. I was the two's teacher for six years and the team lead for four years. I recently became the assistant director this past year, and I look forward to making this location a safe place not only for the children, but for our families as well.
