Welcome to Our School

Welcome to our La Petite Academy educational daycare in Birmingham, AL! My name is Tab, the school director, and I have been with La Petite Academy for eight years.

Whether it's providing loving care for Infants, participating in activities in our Preschool programs, or engaging in one of the many other programs offered at La Petite, I love what I get to do each day and that is to watch so many little ones learn and grow!

Parents, teachers, staff, and management here in Birmingham all have an important role of encouraging our children to become active learners. Teachers participate in training opportunities throughout the year.

I attended Alabama State University from 2000-2004 where I studied the field of early childhood education. I love working as the director here at La Petite Academy and I cannot wait to meet you and your family!

Brianna Jones, Assistant Director

Education: Associate's Degree in Early Child Care Infants-Two's

Certifications: Fire & Safety, CPR/First Aid

I became the assistant director in January 2019, I love my job and my new position. I received my degree in early child care from Trenholm State Community College in Montgomery, AL in 2017. Working with children is my passion and the families at La Petite Academy are my number one priority.
