Welcome to La Petite Academy! I am Darlene Ortiz, the academy director, I have been in the early childhood field since 2006. I have a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education.

Our school has been in the community for over 40 years providing daycare and educational learning experiences to children 6 weeks to 12 years old, we have the best Infant, Preschool and School-Age program in Kissimmee.

Our teachers, some of them have been here for over 15 years, are loving, nurturing and committed to provide the best educational activities with our curriculum designed to support children learning.

Overall my husband and I feel very comfortable with the staff. They are very caring and loving with our son. All the teachers are great and they do a great job with keeping him entertained but also teaching him many things. In the few months hes been at daycare he has learned many things.

Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) is a free daily, 4-hour program that includes breakfast and lunch, with the option of extended wrap care. Education: B.A in Education with concentration in English

Certifications: National CDA, Florida Directors Credential Level ll, VPK Endorsed, First Aid/CPR Certified

Hello, my name is Darlene Ortiz! I am the director of La Petite Academy. I have been in the child care field for 17 years. I am a mom to two wonderful children, and two fur babies. I enjoy spending time with my family. One of my favorite things to do is going to see my boys play baseball. Here at La Petite, I see all my staff as my family.
