Welcome to Our School

Welcome to La Petite Academy educational preschool and daycare in Smyrna, TN. We are proud to serve all of Rutherford county. My name is Dawn and I am the academy director. I have more than 20 years of experience in child care.

Our school offers several programs including Infant and Toddler care, Preschool, Pre-Kindergarten and Before- and After-School care with new flexible schedule options for working families. We offer a wonderful curriculum based on each child's developmental needs. Our center also offers quarterly parent teacher conferences.

We have a wonderful group of teachers here in Smyrna! My staff have a combined experience of over 203 years and most of the remaining teachers serving our schools for 5-20 years each. All of our teachers are certified in CPR and First Aid and attend ongoing training throughout the year.

Certifications: TECTA/CPR and First Aid

I have a passion for children's education and helping them grow at the most important ages in their lives. I have 25 years of experience and love watching the excitement of a child learning. I love the hugs and the pictures they are so proud of. I look forward to growing our LPA family and meeting you and yours soon!
