Thank you for visiting our school, La Petite Academy in Iowa City, IA; the preferred preschool on the east side!
My name is Julie Reid, and I am the academy director of La Petite Academy of Iowa City.
Our school includes a loving child care for Infants, Toddlers, Two's, Preschool, Pre-K, and more! We participate in the Iowa Quality Rating System, where we are currently a 4-star rated school. We are also accredited by National Early Childhood Program Accreditation and our staff members take part in training opportunities throughout the year.
Our school as a whole values many things - the teachers, children, and parents - as an extension of our own family. Together we strive to create a warm and welcoming environment and maintain an open-door policy for everyone. Our number one goal is to try our best to meet each family's needs and develop strong relationships.

I have been in the early education field for 28 years now and at La Petite for 13 years. I feel it is an absolute gift to be a part of a child's early educational experience. I view everyone here - the teachers, children, and parents - as an extension of my own family and I strive to create a warm and welcoming environment.
