Welcome to La Petite Academy in Springfield, MO! My name is Allison Pope and I serve as the Center Director. I have over ten years of experience working in the early childhood education field, including eight in the classroom and four specifically in special education classrooms at the public school level. I was born and raised here in Springfield. I graduated with honors from Drury with a Bachelor's in Psychology and have 30+ post-graduate credits in Special Education. My focal points as a leader are effective communication, intentional connection, and creating a safe and compassionate environment in order to support all learners.

Let me share some things about our school. Developed by our team of education experts, our curriculum is individualized, and STEM based so each child can be prepared for kindergarten. Teachers in each of our Infant, Toddler, Preschool and Pre-K classrooms have hundreds of activities from which to choose, each tied to a specific objective.

Our lead teachers have more than 100 years of combined experience and all teachers receive monthly training and are CPR and First Aid certified. We strive to create a welcoming environment and have an open-door policy so parents can come in and talk with us at any time. At our school, we value the relationships we have with our families and work hard to involve them every day.
