Our Learning and Development Programs

LCG offers many different programs for our teachers, school leadership, and corporate employees to continue their education, develop new skills, and be the best version of themselves. Some of our Learning and Development offerings include:

For Teachers:
CDA Training: With us, earning a CDA is an easy process. Administered by the Council for Professional Recognition, the CDA is the most widely recognized credential in early childhood education. LCG’s FREE preparatory program offers training, in-house support, and a pay increase upon completion (plus potential advancement opportunities).

Master Teacher Program^*: Become a curriculum and ECE expert to make a difference throughout your school. Master your future by training to be the best teacher, coach, mentor, and role model you can be—and earn more in the process.
*This exclusive program is offered annually to a select group of nominated and eligible teachers.

Teacher In-Service Day: Twice a year, educators can enhance their knowledge and skills in a collaborative setting with a day that focuses on key safety, education, and customer service topics. You’ll hear from subject matter experts and engage in connected learning activities with fellow colleagues.

For School Leadership and Corporate Roles:
Leadership Development Program: You’ll gain general knowledge of LCG policies and procedures in six key areas: Marketing, Operations, Finance, Curriculum, Compliance, and Human Resources. You’ll complete eLearning, hands-on activities, and spend time with a mentor director to learn best practices and walk away prepared to take on your new role.

Field Leadership Training (“FLT”) School: In this program, our district leaders gain clear understanding of the importance and expectations of their role. They have opportunities to hone leadership skills through problem-based learning; develop action planning strategies to accelerate business growth; and collaborate with a network of peers and leaders across the company.

New Director Leadership Academy: This program is truly all about you, your leadership, and your pathway to success! Gain insight into your own strengths and opportunities. You’ll be able to reflect on your skills as a leader and make plans to further your development. We offer tools, resources, best practices, and opportunities to pose questions and learn from your peers and several of our leaders.

Corporate Development Opportunities: At the corporate level, each team member is encouraged, empowered, and supported. As your goals evolve, the organization’s offerings do too! We offer opportunities for coaching, mentoring, skills training, eLearning, regular leadership development sessions, and dedicated time to expand your network and create meaningful connections.
