Our company-wide Teacher In-Service Day on October 13 allowed Learning Care Group’s 24,000+ teachers to gather in their classrooms across the country for interactive and valuable sessions that enhance the meaningful care and early education we provide for families and children.

In our schools, to prepare children for the future, teachers highlight moments of change, such as watching the weather shift, plants grow, or routines evolve. They invite children to talk, wonder, and celebrate what they notice.

This month, we encourage you to enjoy these bilingual stories with your children. Each title was thoughtfully selected by our Education Team to celebrate culture, language, and identity.

While it can take a bit of planning and preparation, the natural world offers endless opportunities for children to explore, wonder, and grow. But what exactly is outdoor learning, and why is it so important in children’s lives?

Wondercamp is a 10-week program designed to spark curiosity and creativity through exciting, themed weeks of exploration. In this article, we will provide a few examples of what your child might do while attending Wondercamp, depending on their age.

Wondercamp is divided into 10 Wonders Weeks—each with its own theme and unique activities. Of the ten, there are TWO that stood out as favorites among Wondercampers: Wonders of Mess Making and Wonders of Water.

Everyday technology surrounds children from fasteners on toys and clothing to household tools and kitchen gadgets. While tinkering with simple tools and devices, children will be inspired to ask questions and discover the mechanics of how things work!
