Welcome to Our School
Welcome to La Petite Academy, a NECPA accredited educational child care facility, where your child can explore the world of creative learning as well as develop socially. We offer new and exciting experiences daily and provide a safe and loving environment. La Petite Academy has been an education-driven and reputable school in the community for more than 25 years.
My name is Dawn and I am honored to be a part of The Learning Care group as the Director here at La Petite Academy since 2019. I have been in the child care field for over 30 years, I am also a mother of three children. Through my experience, I can say La Petite offers the best educational programs for Infant through Pre-K that provide a loving, caring and nurturing environment. This center also offers After-School care with the convenience of transportation from the local area elementary schools.
All of our teachers are certified with a CDA or higher education, are CPR/First Aid trained, and participate in ongoing trainings throughout the year. The unique longevity of our teachers is a testament to their dedication for the child care field and continuously show their love for the children through the care and education they provide each day.

Give Your Child a Great Start With VPK
Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) is a free daily, 4-hour program that includes breakfast and lunch, with the option of extended wrap care. Certifications: Florida Director Credential (Level I), Florida Staff Credential, VPK Director Credential, First Aid/CPR Certified
I started at La Petite Academy in 2019, but have 30 years of experience in the child care field. I am a mother of three from Michigan, where I obtained my degree in early childhood and previously built and owned a preschool and daycare. I am dedicated to the social and emotional development of each child in our care and it is my goal to ensure that each child receives the care and love that they deserve.
