Welcome to Our School

Welcome to La Petite Academy, a five-star educational daycare in Cary, NC.

We provide exceptional care for Infants and Toddlers as well as a range of Preschool programs. We also offer a Junior Kindergarten program for any children who miss the Kindergarten birthday window.

Our teachers have more than 150 years of combined experience! They take part in various monthly and annual training throughout the year to stay current in the field. The teachers are also lead teacher certified throughout the school.

Diapers and wipes are also included in tuition! We have a state-of-the-art security system, and only those with a code can access our facility.

Stephanie Bechtel, Director

Education: Master's Degree - Literacy, Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and Special Education

Certifications: Teaching Certificate Birth-6th

Stephanie brings over seven years of dedicated service and expertise to our team as the Director of our preschool daycare program. Her passion for early childhood education and commitment to creating nurturing environments have made a significant impact on the development and well-being of countless children under her care. Beyond her role as Director, Stephanie is known for her collaborative spirit and her ability to build strong relationships with parents, staff, and the community.

Erin Smith, Assistant Director

Education: Associate's Degree- Early Childhood Education, Business Administration

Certifications: CNA

Erin is excited to take the next step in her career as the Assistant Director. Her extensive experience has equipped her with a deep understanding of early childhood development, program management, and family engagement. She is passionate about creating nurturing environments that foster children's growth and learning, a positive and inclusive culture, and ensuring that every child feels valued and supported.
