Welcome to La Petite Academy of Fairfax Station, VA! Our school provides nurturing childcare and early education where children build confidence and develop essential early learning skills.
Our school offers Infant, Toddler, Twos, Early Preschool, Preschool, Pre-K, Before- and After-School Clubs, and Junior Kindergarten programs, along with engaging summer camp experiences, in a safe, secure, and healthy learning environment. Our exclusive Learn as We Grow® curriculum uses hands-on, play-based, and inquiry-driven experiences to encourage children to explore, imagine, and ask questions. Through age-appropriate learning activities, children develop communication, problem-solving, creativity, and independence while building foundational skills that prepare them for kindergarten.
Families can enjoy an all-inclusive daycare experience, including meals, snacks, diapers, and wipes, as well as on-site enrichment activities. Flexible, part-time care options are also available for families who need additional scheduling flexibility.
We are proud to have earned accreditation from the National Early Childhood Program Accreditation (NECPA) in February 2020, reflecting our commitment to maintaining high standards of care and early education.
Most of our teachers have more than five years of experience and complete at least 24 hours of professional development annually, including monthly training. Their expertise helps create engaging classrooms where children receive individualized attention and encouragement as they reach developmental milestones.

Safety and comfort come first in our Infants Program, where Primary Caregivers offer your little one personalized attention. Learn from the Start™, our exclusive milestone-based curriculum, guides every experience, from sensory play to early language and motor skill building. The classroom is designed with everything teachers need at their fingertips, so they can stay by your baby’s side. Sensory pools and mats, activity gyms, and other age-appropriate toys and materials engage all five senses, inspiring curiosity and exploration in a safe space. With a maximum teacher-child ratio of 1:4, your baby always feels the love and attention they need. Diapers and wipes are also included, giving families one less thing to worry about each day.
