Welcome to Our School
Welcome to La Petite Academy, a preschool with extended daycare in Henderson, NV.
My name is Dara Stubbs. I have been a part of the La Petite Academy family since 2001. I was so excited to expand my role at La Petite, first as an assistant director and now as a director.
We serve the Henderson, Silverado Ranch, and Anthem Communities. We provide care and education for children from six weeks to School-Age. All of our classrooms have their own age specified curriculum. Our school won the education excellence award in 2023 for having exceptional commitment to demonstrating excellence in education.
Our school has been in this area for more than 50 years! Some of our teachers have been with us for over 18 years and together, we have 170 years of experience. We are all certified in CPR and First Aid. Our teachers also take part in continuing Early Childhood Education hours and receive regular training throughout the year mandated by licensing.

I have been apart of La Petite Academy since 2018. I started out as an assistant twos teacher, and am now the assistant director! I have three kids of my own that I spend most of my time outside of work running around to all their activities. I believe that children learn best through play in a loving, caring, and fun environment. We love watching our kids here at La Petite learn, grow, and thrive while exploring our brand specific curriculum.
