Welcome to Our School

Welcome to La Petite Academy educational daycare in Huntsville, AL! My name is Kristi-Douglas McCauley and I'm the center director. I have been an early childhood educator for more than 30 years. I am dedicated to delivering quality care and education to children through our many programs including learning-based Infant Care, Preschool programs and more. I enjoy the personal relationships I have formed with parents and children and truly feel like an extension of their families.

I have a great group of teachers! More than half of them have worked at this location for at least five years and together, they have more than 100 years of experience in the classrooms. They receive monthly training and attend ongoing training sessions in CPR and First Aid. We also have Child Development Associate-qualified teachers on our team.
