La Petite Academy of W. 6th St has offered early education in Lawrence, Kansas, since August 1987. Our daycare and preschool is beside Sagebrook Townhomes and near Dillons and Lawrence Country Club. Among our team's credentials: CPR and First Aid certifications and a Director License.
Infants, Toddlers, Twos, Early Preschool, Preschool, Pre-K, and Before and After School Care: that is our lineup. We keep daycare flexible with Drop-in Care, Part-time schedules, and School Breaks when plans change. Families using third-party tuition assistance are welcome; our team can answer questions on tour. Every summer week at Wondercamp has its own theme, from Wonders of Art to Wonders of Color, plus water activities. Learn from the Start® brings babies sensory play, and Learn as We Grow® for Toddlers through Pre-K turns play into discovery, like two-year-olds spotting seasonal changes outdoors.
Enrichment options include Soccer, which builds teamwork while children play with friends, and Spotlight on Spanish, which weaves conversational Spanish into songs and stories. Both appear on this page. We have bussing connections with Deerfield Elementary. We offer an outdoor playground separated by age for fresh air and movement. Real-time photos, video, and care updates arrive through SproutAbout®, along with livestreaming video from class.
