Welcome to Our School
Welcome to La Petite Academy in Ocoee, FL! I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Ms. Ericka Edwards. I bring to you over twelve years of Early Childhood Education experience. Most recently I was the Director of Education at a private pre-school in Lake Nona. I’ve made this transition to be closer to home. I am excitedly looking forward to getting to know you and your child. I hold a Child Development Associate credential and my Directors Credential along with over 12 years experience working in a classroom and in management.
Our school, established in 1981, is nationally accredited through NECPA and has been recognized as a Florida Gold Seal Quality Care program provider.
All of our programs include meals (breakfast, lunch, and P.M. snack). For Infants, Toddler and Twos programs, Cuties diapers and wipes are included in tuition. Our diapers and wipes are hypoallergenic, dye and chlorine free. We also accept VPK vouchers as well as School Readiness contracts.
Our families come from different areas, including Windermere, Ocoee, Orlando and Winter Garden. We create a welcoming environment and maintain an open-door policy. Our teachers have 100 years of combined experience! They are CPR and First Aid certified and receive monthly training as well as ongoing training provided by the state.
