Welcome to Our School

Welcome to La Petite Academy in Pickerington, Ohio. My name is Kris and I have been with La Petite for over 30 years in various roles.

We offer Infant care beginning at six weeks of age, as well as a full or part-time Preschool program focusing on Kindergarten readiness and a School-Age program for before- and after-school care and full time care during school breaks for children up to 10 years of age.

We are currently a 1-Star rated Step Up to Quality center through the Ohio Department of Jobs and Family Services. We have multiple educators will over 20 years of experience. Our teachers participate in yearly training to stay up to date on best practices and child development.

We’re committed to providing simple ways to keep you connected throughout the day while your child is in our care. With live streaming video, you can view your child’s classroom from any device or computer. Plus, get real-time updates with our family communication app.

We closely follow recommendations from state and local authorities, to maintain a clean, safe, healthy environment.

I have worked at La Petite since 1987, and taught Kindergarten for several years before I began here . I believe education is extremely important and that every child should have a solid foundation to grow. I can't wait to meet you and your family!
