Welcome to Our School

We are happy you found La Petite Academy on West Bitters! Our daycare and preschool has served San Antonio, Texas, since December 2009, beside Bluffview Greens and near Silverhorn Golf Club and Hidden Forest Elementary School. Our school is recognized by NECPA with accreditation. Our staff hold a Child Development Associate credential and CPR and First Aid certifications and have completed Shaken Baby and sudden infant death syndrome training.

Children from 6 weeks to 5 years can join us in Infants, Toddlers, Early Preschool, Preschool, and Pre-K. We accept third-party assistance for child care costs; we can share details on your tour. Infants build a growing sense of self through Learn from the Start®, and Learn as We Grow® for Toddlers through Pre-K turns everyday moments into discovery, like early preschoolers measuring and comparing during sensory play.

Children can try Music, which brings songs and rhythm into the week, or Spotlight on Spanish, which offers conversational Spanish through playful stories and games. I love being part of each child's growth and development at every stage. Since joining Learning Care Group in 2013, I have had the opportunity to teach children from Infants through Pre-K, giving me a deep appreciation for every milestone along the way. In 2020, I became the School Director, and I take pride in building a strong sense of community among our teachers, children, and families. Together, we create a welcoming environment where every child can learn, grow, and thrive.

Learn from the Start™, our exclusive milestone-based curriculum, guides every experience, from sensory play to early language and motor skill building. The classroom is designed with everything teachers need at their fingertips, so they can stay by your baby’s side. Sensory pools and mats, activity gyms, and other age-appropriate toys and materials engage all five senses, inspiring curiosity and exploration in a safe space. With a maximum teacher-child ratio of 1:4, your baby always feels the love and attention they need. Diapers and wipes are also included, giving families one less thing to worry about each day.

Summer Camp

Our Summer Camp program, Wondercamp, gives children a summer filled with discovery, creativity, and fun through hands-on activities, outdoor play, and engaging weekly themes. Designed for toddlers to 12-year-olds, this full-day program encourages imagination, curiosity, and collaboration with friends.
