Welcome to Our School

Welcome to La Petite Academy in Snellville, GA. My name is Ms. Alona Crews and I am the academy director. My journey in education began nearly 40 years ago, During the course of these 40 years I have worked with every age level from infants to school-agers. I possess a degree in Early Childhood Education. I am a mother of three, and a proud grandmother so I know firsthand the impact our programs have on a child's development and success. We are so much more than a daycare! Our school offers programs for Infants, Toddler/Twos, Preschool, Georgia Pre-K and School-Age.

My staff and I work hard to build strong relationships with all of our families. We partner with them to make sure each child's needs are being met and adjust lessons to accommodate each classroom.

The School-Age enhancements include iPads featuring apps to create art, music and videos, tripods for moviemaking, robots for coding and more! We also host many events to allow everyone an opportunity to participate, such as family involvement nights, a fall festival, and classroom events.

Overall it has been positive. I love the director Ms. Pearlene, and her teacher. While I would like more structure, my concerns are heard and considered, and the building is safe. My child is also attached to her teacher and friends. She also adores the director who knows all kids by name and makes them feel super important.
