Welcome to Our School

Welcome to our Sun Prairie, Wisconsin La Petite Academy! My name is Mrs. Mackenzie and I am the academy director. I have been in the early childhood field for more than 20 years. I enjoy building relationships with families and watching the many milestones the children master from the Infant program through School-Age.

Our school offers part-time, full-time and flexible scheduling programs for children ages 6 weeks through 11 years old. All of our education programs have been designed exclusively for us. The curriculum we offer are Learn as We Grow, STEM, Spotlight on Phonics and Tech and Tinker.

All teachers are certified in CPR and First Aid and have various levels of early childhood education. Our center is equipped with a security system that only allows current families and staff to enter the building during our hours of operation. We value our families as partners and make it a priority to keep them involved and knowledgeable of all aspects of their child's education.

I love this school. Our children have learned so much here. My older son knew his ABCs before I even thought to teach him. And this morning my 4 year old son explained correctly how night and day happen. (I had no idea he knew that) My daughter could count to ten before I knew she even started counting and is better at sharing and caring than she had been at home. They are totally on top of learning

through every activity they do at school. It's been such a huge help in making sure that all the basic education areas are targeted. If I were on my own I would focus on math and reading and social behavior and completely miss science, arts and physical activity.
