Welcome to Our School

Welcome to La Petite Academy of Tyrone, GA. My name is Dekesha and I am the center director. I have been in child care for more than 13 years and have a CDA in child care.

We teach at each child's developmental level for our Infant through Preschool children, as well as in our Private Pre-Kindergarten and Jr. Kindergarten programs!

Our teachers are in the process of being fully credentialed, with the minimum requirement being a Child Development Associate, and some hold associate's degrees or higher in early childhood education. All of our staff is also CPR and First Aid certified.

After several years in the corporate arena and as an entrepreneur, I have enjoyed the last 11 years in child care. I am originally from Indiana and now reside in Tyrone with my husband and daughter.

I have three beautiful children, ages 22, 14 and eight and I am from Arlington, TX. I love seeing the kids' smiles and their reactions when they accomplish something they are proud of. I have had the privilege of working for the company since 2010. My hobbies are traveling and seeing the world.
