Welcome to Our School

Welcome to La Petite Academy educational daycare located in Bloomingdale Estates in Valrico, FL!

Our school offers loving Infant care, superior Preschool programs, phonics programs for our VPK students, and is nationally accredited by the National Early Childhood Program Accreditation. The standards we follow are higher than the State of Florida's Child Daycare Licensing Standards.

More than half of our teachers have been here for five years or more and have additional teaching experience prior to La Petite. The commitment to lifelong learning and safety of our children is the most important for us here at La Petite.

My staff and I create a warm and welcoming environment. We plan a lot of events for everyone to participate in and I work hard to ensure our families meet each other and develop strong relationships, as well.

Give Your Child a Great Start With VPK

Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) is a free daily, 4-hour program that includes breakfast and lunch, with the option of extended wrap care. Jacqueline Alves, Director

Education: Associate Degree in ECE Advanced Director Credential

Certifications: CPR/First Aid, State Mandated 45 hours

I have been a Director in Florida for over 15 years. My passion has always been the education and learning with young children. I have been in Early Education for over 30 years and always try to stay involved with upcoming changes and trainings needed to enhance our Quality Education program.

I've been devoted to young childhood education for over 12 years. After teaching for 10 years, I decided to change my focus and support teachers to help them reach their potentials.

Education: High school diploma

Certifications: CPR/ first aid, 45 DCF, CDA

I am a Team Lead and Lead Teacher in our Infant Program at LPA. I have been in child care for over 10 years and love working with my Infants and children of all ages. I have been with LPA for over three years and enjoy the warm caring environment that we offer here at the Valrico location. I love outdoor activities with my two children and frequently go camping and Kayaking.

Hello, I have been in child care for two years with La Petite and couldn’t be happier. I am dedicated to the safety and education of those in my care. One of my biggest goals is to be a positive influence of the lives of the children I have the honor of meeting, as well as helping to develop them for the next steps in their school career. I am currently working on completing my CDA and look forward to my career path with LCG.
