Welcome to La Petite Academy educational child care in Waldorf, Maryland! Our school encompasses Infant Care, Preschool, Pre-K, Junior K and School-Age programs.

Many of our teachers have worked at La Petite Academy for five years or more and there are some who have been with the center for over 20 years. Our teachers receive ongoing monthly training and are all First Aid and CPR certified.

Meet Our Staff

Ana S. Baker, Associate Director

Education: Master's Degree in Education

Certifications: 45 Infant, 90 Hour Preschool/Pre-K, First Aid & CPR, Health and Safety, Medication Administration

Ana has been in the childcare field for about the last ten years. She started off as an aide and worked her way to director all while taking many early education courses along the way. Ana has a huge passion for children, which is evident in her full of life spirit. She is ready to hit the ground running, and is excited for all that La Petite Academy has to offer. She is thrilled to get to know all of the students, parents and staff and looks forward to being of service to them.

Bianca Wilson, Assistant Director

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Development

Certifications: 45 School Age Hours, 90 Hour Preschool/Pre-K, First Aid, CPR, Health and Safety, Medication Administration

My expertise that I bring as an assistant director includes 15 years in child care, and working with children of all ages. I enjoy building positive relationships with the families and children at our school. I will always do my best in partnering with the director to provide quality care.
